Abstract
Solar power is now a significant renewable energy sector. It is utilized for a variety of purposes, including commercial applications, solar heaters, solar pumps, and so on. Solar energy reduces the shortage of integrated grid electricity. Our country's electricity need will rise day by day in the future. However, it reduces the dependability of conventional fuel. The sun provides more than enough energy to meet the whole world's energy needs, and unlike fossil fuels, it won't run out anytime soon. As a renewable energy source, the only limitation of solar power is our ability to turn it into electricity in an efficient and cost-effective way. Floating solar PV plants are a new type of photovoltaic (PV) system that floats on the surface of drinking water reservoirs, quarry lakes, irrigation canals, or cleanup and tailing ponds. Floating solar PV technology provides several benefits over land-based counterparts. The primary advantage is that floating solar PV panels have greater power generation efficiency than land-based panels due to the cooling impact of water beneath the panels. The colder climate also decreases stress on the system, allowing it to last longer. Bangladesh has a large coastline, lake, pond, and reservoir on water that can be used for the solar project instead of land. Floating solar PV power plants will be useful in 57 major rivers and a large coastline area. To improve the solar power plant, we decided to implement our proposed system in coastal base area. It will generate more power to cover up the lacking of electricity. The goal of this thesis is to sketch up a floating solar system that may be utilized to create sustainable energy. In this thesis, we have done dual axis floating solar tracking for more efficiency. It will track the sun for greater amount of energy. Also, we have developed IoT based floating PV system to monitor the power plant. It can help us for monitoring the power plant from anywhere and we can get the real time value. Accordingly, the research's goal is to describe the floating solar system, which may be utilized to produce sustainable energy.
