Item Suitable Body Structure And Monitoring Facility Of Solar Powered E-Vehicle(Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2022-04) ALAM, MUHTASIM; JAVED, ABDULLAH ALThis project is to design a Body structure and monitoring facility for solar power electric vehicles that aims to tackle the problems related to pollution and shortage of fuel. In Bangladesh, especially in urban areas like Chittagong, Dhaka for daily commute. The design of the vehicle body structure emphasizes fit solar panels and utilizes solar power obtained and converted to electrical energy. The vehicle runs on a motor powered by the battery storage unit via a motor controller. A Smart vehicle is the one that takes all our burdens on maintenance of the vehicle while ensuring safety and comfort for the driver and the passengers. In our design, we have divided the whole system into three major divisions namely the Monitoring facility, Safety Feature, and Body structure. The monitoring facility includes various sensors Battery temperature, Battery charging, and charging level. Safety feature includes sensing if the driver is driving the vehicle with one hand, then the buzzer will signal. Also, if the driver removes the leg from the brake pedal. an Emergency Shutdown System is designed to stop the vehicle or reduce the speed. The structure of the car is designed in such a way that it can easily accommodate up to the maximum number of solar panels and can run without any structural difficulties on the roads of urban or rural areas.
