Abstract

Concentrated Solar Power with PV is a very promising and astounding compact design to mitigate the very alarming electricity problem along with Saint Martin people who are detached from national grid due to its geographical location. The diesel-based energy is way too expensive for the local people to bear and there is also a lack of drinkable water for the local population as well as fresh water for the ecology. So, taking all these into considerations we studied about area's solar radiation, temperature and power demand we made e design consisted CSP and PV. The output perfectly met the power demand and the excess electricity from the power plant can be used for desalination. The significance of CSP is immense having heliostats as a solar maximum ray tracking ability and to store thermal heat which can be used in many ways including solving electricity shortage at night. This paper describes the history and significance of CSP and PV systems, discusses the cutting-edge technologies that include maximum power point tracking inverters, and concludes with a conclusion.
