Abstract There are uncertainties with regard to which network technologies will remain current and adaptable to emerging changes in Smart Home requirements. This research is based on using the existing and available network technologies for Smart Homes. In particular, it used CSMA network and Wifi Network based on IEEE 802.11ac standard. It is expected that a usual home has to upgrade the infrastructural network to fully upgrade into Smart home. So, the focus is to make a building design, based on Bangladesh’s prospective and use CSMA and WiFi network individually in simulation.en_US
