Abstract
In first-world countries, smart shopping is becoming increasingly popular. However, in Bangladesh, this is still a relatively new concept to establish and broadly execute. The purpose of this project is to provide a proposed design and implementation of an RFID based smart shopping system. This system employs a smart shopping device that customers may use to shop for their preferred things, while item data are also displayed and billing information is calculated as the user is shopping. The smart shopping cart will recognize the things placed within and add them to the bill automatically. This strategy will save shoppers time by avoiding long queues at the check-out counters, and the supermarket's supervision will be more efficient. The whole system has implemented by using an ESP32 microcontroller chipset. The sensor on the shopping cart will also update and send the number of products to the main server, ensuring that the server is always up to date on the state of every item in the store. Furthermore, because the RFID reader will automatically read all of the items, inventory management will be considerably more efficient. The microcontroller reads the data. Then it compares the data with the stored data in Read only Memory (ROM) to get a final result.
