Abstract
The efficiency with which we can carry out through our daily lives is mostly due to automation. As more vehicles rely on this crossing, traffic congestion worsens and workers' time is squandered. The present manual toll collecting method in Bangladesh is incapable of accomplishing this duty in such a timely manner. As a result, we propose a method of testing a system that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, using an entirely automated toll collecting system that employs active RFID tags, and which can significantly reduce the need for human involvement, wasted time, and, most importantly, chaotic traffic. At the toll plaza, the system electronically recognizes the vehicle, calculates the right toll amount, and deducts the cost. This system may eliminate the requirement for car owners and toll collection authorities to personally issue fines and collect revenue. Vehicle owners and toll authorities can conveniently exchange data on the transfer of a monetary sum. As a result, providing toll payment transparency with less manual effort and fewer human mistakes may be feasible. As a result, developing an intelligent transportation system will be less difficult. By utilizing a simplified credit system, a vehicle owner can borrow an amount up to their toll fees through an RFID card, with a pre-determined interest rate and a repayment plan. The number of cars, arrival and departure times, and owner information will all be collected and saved in an online database.
