Abstract
This paper presents a dual-band Microstrip Patch Antenna (MPA) using slot to be used in 4G and 5G systems. Because of broader bandwidth, slot patch antennas are very useful in commercial applications like 4G and 5G. Therefore, the main motive of this research work is to design slot antenna for 4G and 5G wireless communication. This work also can be provided for many devices such as Wi-Fi, WLAN (Wireless LAN) etc in future. And, it can also be used for lots of bands. This antenna is designed and simulated with CST Microwave Studio and operates on a band of 2.6 GHz and 28 GHz. Rogers RT-5880 material is used as a substrate which is 2.2 relative permittivity. The gain, bandwidth, return loss, VSWR and efficiency of the designed antenna at 2.6 GHz are 6.422 dBi, 85.8 MHz, -23 dB, 1.14, 70% and for 28 GHz 8.621 dBi, 3231MHz, -16 dB, 1.35, 90% respectively
