dc.description.abstractIndian serials are the most popular form of entertainment in Bangladesh, enjoyed by a large section of the common people. Young, old and even children are interested in watching these serials. They try to emulate it in their daily life. These serials represent the Hindu culture that affects various aspects of the lives of the people of Bangladesh. It is constantly destroying our values, beliefs and traditions. Bangladeshi channels are not aired in India but Indian channels are widely aired in Bangladesh. Its negative impact is the main cause of social degradation. Unfortunately, suicide, family violence and divorce are increasing at a significant rate day by day. But the government has no awareness about this, which has engulfed the entire society. The researcher has presented the dire situation and real picture of people who watch Indian serialsthrough the presentation of findings of a survey.en_US
