Satellite communication depends on various environmental elements such as cloud, fog, rain and atmospheric scintillation. In this report, the tropospheric scintillation of Bangladesh climate is predicted by four different prediction models which are ITU-R, Karawasa, Van de Kamp and Otung. This report compare the predicted results and found that the maximum affected scintillation fade depth (SFD) in Barisal and Rajshahi and the SFD is minimum in Mymensingh and Dhaka. The report also indicate that the ITU-R and Van de Kamp models offer better performance.en_US
